The SBO FX features an integrated Z-Vex Fuzz Factory, which can be used to create anything from standard overdrive or distortion to strange and crazy oscillating noises. There are 5 knobs for the Fuzz Factory - 3 on the back of the guitar (in panel) and 2 on the front. On the back are: Vol, Gate and Drive; and on the front are: Stab & Comp. The SBO FX also has an MXR-Phase 90 built internally (with the knob in the back panel and the on/off switch on the front of the guitar), which can be used either with or without the Fuzz Factory to create whatever sound you desire. At the bridge of the guitar, is a Bareknuckle Mississippi Queen Humbucker and at the Neck, a Fernandes Sustainer. Also featured is the Roland GK-3 Midi Pickup, which connects to a suitable pedal and can be used to output any available Midi sound, with or without the guitar signal as well. Depending on the model you purchase, a suitable Midi Pedal may be supplied. As with the SBO XY, a kill switch is featured for those stutter sounds.
